The school is okay, but it's almost as if the teachers do not want to be there. When you ask for help, they give you very generic answers that leave you very confused. When it comes to creating schedules, it is absolutely horrible. You often get classes that you don't want or need.

Hoke County High School is a great school where the staff work with you on your studies in order for you to feel successful. The school has numerous vocational career classes and classes that meet the needs of all students and their interests. The sports programs are great and the coaches all invest time in the student athletes. The JROTC program is consistently winning awards and placing at the top in many of the completions that are against other JROTC programs in other counties. The SPED programs are also great and many of the SPED students can participate in many programs that work with them in small groups and one on one. One such program is the LEGO initiative that has SPED students partnered up with other students to make and create LEGO vehicles. These are only some of the reasons Hoke County High School is a great school

This is my first year going to this school. At first I was shy and didn't make any friends but then a few months later so made a couple of friends. Also this school got good programs and have early college classes.

Please don't send your child here. We moved to this district with high hopes after having bad experiences with another NC high school. Hopes were dashed quickly. NC schools, in general, seem to not care about IEPs or 504 plans. We were told in our meeting with the counselor and only one teacher that...
