GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

A very good experience for my final year of high school. Loved the self paced work and finished extremely early on this year. It was honestly a little disorienting at first and definitely not traditional but the diversity and atmosphere fit the strange schedule. Honestly there were just a lot of opportunities to excel and get ahead of the curve that. you just won't get at a regular public high school.

Central Wake is very self paced and independent, but lacks proper staffing for it's growing population that results in the mishandling of students who need deeper levels of help.

My son went from struggling, to excelling in school. Traditional system school was not working fir him. He needed a smaller environment and to be able to focus on academics. He was able to complete his Jr and Sr year classes in one year and graduate early
