I think there is a great chance for connections with students and teachers here and that often works well. I often find that while the teachers are amazing, administration is often harsh, biased, and uncaring towards students. I think the arts are well supported as well as academics. However, I think is is contradictory that as a college prep school Longleaf does not offer dual enrollment.

When I first started at Longleaf Scool of The Arts I was nervous. But once I got to know the teachers and the other students I started to love the school. Everyone is so nice and the administrators and teachers are very helpful. I can't wait to start back at Longleaf for my 10th grade year.

This school does not support the students. The head of school is terrible. I would not recommend to parents looking for a school for their high school students unless they want to send them to a biased school.

Teachers can be nice; it really depends on who you have as a teacher. Some put in the effort, but others couldn’t care less, and delay even grading stuff. Students with disabilities get accommodations, but teachers don’t always honor that. Administration doesn’t care about any kind of bullying, stud...

I haven't been here for long but I can say with full confidence that there is little to no effort when it comes to anything. Administration is messed up, staff don't care about how students feel, theater gets 99% if not all the funding, and the students here are just overall entitled brats. My educa...

Great school and very good decision to enroll my high school student here. Great acceptance rates at competitive colleges. Parents need to recognize a college prep high school has a college prep curriculum and if their student is not on a track for college readiness in middle school lol, a college p...
