The temporary buildings might not be as impressive as other schools but the teachers in the school are incredibly dedicated. I have met many of the teachers at the elementary school at this point and I don't have a bad word to say about any of them. The counseling staff is unmatched and the principal and other office staff know the student's names. My daughter is advanced and has never been bored and is always excited to go to school. My son will be in kindergarten next year and he is not nearly where my daughter was at this age and I'm not worried about the quality of care he will receive. This school doesn't just cater to the brightest pupils but really helps children who might fall through the cracks in other schools.

Not a good school that the old reputation of it had parents believe. We have a decade of experience with attending this school and have seen several teachers and staff changes that it is clearly concerning. Many teachers and admin. do not even send their own children to Exploris. They do not address bullying and learning disabilities in the proper ways. It has become a notch on some administrators resumes instead of working at the school for the better of the students.

We have had nothing but a positive experience at Exploris over the past three years. The teachers and staff are incredibly caring and thoughtful, especially when it comes to supporting children through big emotions. They recognized when my girls needed extra help and made sure they received it, whic...

We went to Exploris for 2 years and left in the 25/26 school year. We should've left after Kindergarten after multiple physical endangerments but I thought each incident was a "one off" and could've happened anywhere. I realize now that it is not normal to pick up your child from school, crying and...

My child transferred into the middle school in seventh grade, and Exploris has been SO good for him: academically, socially, and in terms of his executive function. In just a few months, he has grown so much more independent and he comes home every day happy and talkative.

Exploris Middle School is a wonderfully diverse and inclusive public charter school. For families and/or students who live beyond historic social norms, this is a wonder school to be understood, supported, seen, and encouraged to be your authentic and emerging self.
