If your child needs an IEP they will do everything they can to avoid it. You will need to push for it. There is a huge lack of support with special education.

When my child had an issue with another student the school was great and really made sure the situation and other student was handled appropriately , the principal is beyond amazing and spent extra time talking to him and went above and beyond making him feel safe and important!
