GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have mostly enjoyed my school but the academics are not as challenging as I would like to see. The administration is willing to work with individual students to customize their schedules, however, to make things more interesting. The extracurriculars are wonderful, but I wish there was more of a focus on the arts. There is also not much diversity in school. I would like to see a better school menu featuring healthy options.

I go to Maranacook part time for English and Spanish and my experience has been pretty good overall. While I personally am not a fan of the advisee program, many of Maranacook's students say that the advisee program enhanced their time at the school. My teachers are very nice and I've learned a lot in my time at the school.

A very small school district with a strong community feel. There are some great teachers who love what they do and the kids they work with making Maranacook the community that it is. Great athletics and music programs for the area!

I Am a current student at this High school and all of the reviews are outdated. There is no Hate in this school, All of the teachers are nice. Compared to most schools I hear about this school is great and I wouldn't want to go to any other school.

6:30am is way to early for 6 and 7 year Olds to get on the bus. And they don't get home until just after 4 they need to do something about this.

Principal Conway is a useless person. He puts on an act and pretends to care about students, but he doesn't even know anyone's name... it's all "hi buddy", "nice day pal". His eyes glaze over if you talk to him for more than "hello". He obviously doesn't give a sh-t and it shows. On top of this, he...
