I graduated a few years ago, and even back then, it was a mess. I remember several times where students wanted to make changes at the school, but the admin berated these kids for trying. One example is this petition we signed to force the school to condemn police brutality. Their reaction was minimal, until we asked for a meeting to cancel midterms for COVID reasons. At this meeting, they said they were not cancelling midterms, but then one senior administrator yelled and ranted at us for making that petition, even though we were just kids, and some people in the room didn't sign it. It was horrendous and traumatizing, and I regret even raising my voice to them, because it was not heard. That's just the tip of the iceberg, but it's one reason why I don't recommend that you send your kids there.

I have had a great experience at Austin Prep. I always feel like I have the support of my teachers and advisors and can go to them with any personal or academic issues. There's a big opportunity to get involved with the school with either sports or clubs. It is a special community of people. I feel ready to go to college this year.

As a parent, I am deeply disheartened by my experience with Austin Prep. While the school speaks frequently about values and virtues, I have seen little evidence that these ideals are lived out in meaningful ways especially when it comes to supporting students who are struggling, either academically...

When is the insanity going to end? The tuition for 2025-2026 will exceed $35,000!!! About a year ago I wrote saying that AP at $31,500 tuition was ridiculous; save your money for college or grad school. There are many fine public schools in surrounding towns and cities from AP draws its students. I...

We decided to enroll our child in this school after encountering bullying and a lack of the values we prioritize at another Catholic Elementary school. Our experience here has been excellent, with our child's grades improving from a mix of As and Bs to straight As. We are pleased with the quality of...
