The best parts are the support and the motivation you get when you're surrounded by incredibly motivated and successful students. The AP World/ AP Lang and math departments are incredible. All the teachers in those departments are absolutely incredible at their job. The clubs are brilliant. I think the worst parts were the fights that would sometimes break out and some of the teachers being creepy.

Redmond High School is a great school that offers many opportunities in classes to take. There is a large variety of classes for students to take. Most teachers are kind and as a student you can build a good relationship with them. However, the school is very competitive and with the large amounts of students it can be hard to fit in unless you apply yourself constantly.

RHS is overall a slightly above average school. The main issue right now is its unaccommodating capacity; the school is in dire need of an expansion. There is a competitive culture, however, it is not widespread, and more of a large, demographic-consuming bubble. The school fosters and celebrates diversity and there are people of all kinds at this school.

A high school that is overcrowded and therefore filled with tired teacher/counselors, some problematic students and irritating neglect. High schools in Bellevue and Kirkland fair much better. If you have a sports interest or mediocre student you'll like it. If you have a high achiever in STEM better...

Some of the most support teachers you’ll ever meet and greatly prepared me for college and beyond. I have such fond memories at this school and I feel like I was more prepared for college than most of my fellow college peers.

This school does a great job with smart or sports-minded kids, and a terrible job with disadvantaged students, bubble students, or the outsiders such as drama and arts students. If your child plays football and has a 1600 SAT, I'm sure they'll do fine at Redmond High. They'll even be lauded and awar...
