In terms of academics, Tesla STEM High School definitely prepared me well by providing many dual credit and AP classes. However, I struggled a lot from their excessive workload. I would like to see more non-STEM related AP classes offered at STEM.

It's been a mixed experience. If we had it to do over again, I would have encouraged our child to attend a regular high school. I think the drawbacks outweigh the benefits. Tesla STEM is an amazing school and the teachers move on to the next subject only once you've understood it. There are also many opportunities to make up for a bad grade.

Stem is an academically rigorous school. There's a lot of competition and comparison within the student body that some can find to be a very toxic environment.
