GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I had a very up and down experience as a Reidsville high school student. I transferred to reidsville my freshman year which was during Covid so everyone was at home. I missed the feel of being a freshman in highschool and sports got delayed for a long time. The next 3 years would be filled with meeting my best friends, taking classes that were harder than I expected, and finding new ways to push myself and stay motivated

My experience was ok. Nothing fancy. Meet some friends we're not so close now. Some teachers cared some were just there for a paycheck. Food was mediocre. They have a great sports department especially football.

This is, generally speaking, a good school. Most of the teachers are good — they enjoy teaching, help students improve their work, etcetera. The main issue that I find with this school is the emphasis on the football team and the IB program. Football players can do practically anything they want and the IB program is presented as the best possible program (despite there being other programs offered).

Things go down hill the teachers don't really care about your education. If you listen to them while they are talking you can do what ever you wan't afterward.

I'm a proud alumni of Reidsville High School. I got a 5 star education when I was there that prepared me totally for college as well as my career. The faculty there is top notch

During my time here at RHS, I have seen a lot of changes take place. When I first arrived, I will admit that there was a lack of rigor in some of our classrooms, and there was a tremendous amount of apathy from the student body. Many of the teachers that were here when I arrived are no longer here,...

Strong leadership with administrators and teachers who care deeply for the students and their development. Outdated media and veiled racism within Rockingham County community continue to undermine Reidsville HS reputation, but I have found their reports to be unfounded and restricting. Diversity at...
