GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

70% of teachers in this school are drop out teacher, speacially the stem ones, besides the chemistry teacher all the other teacher dont know what they are doing, the math teacher for example, gives you quizzes competely different then your homework and what was thiught in class, the engineering theacher, simply says that everything for projects are in google classroom and pltw, when none of his requirements are there, then you get a 0 for not having only one requirement, when it's almost a miracle for someone to remember the requirements, while all of that the staffs end up allways blaming their students, instead of actually doing their work, and if that was not enough, they si.ply act act as dictators.

Overall, my expeerience at Coral Academy was pleasant. The student body and teacher connections are wholesome and worthwhile, in addition to the supportive college prep curriculum. However, things on the administration level can be very slow and inefficient, and facilities for sports are either lackluster or non-existent.

I liked some of the teachers and the friends i made there are cool. They need to change their buildings because its a dump. Some of the teachers need to learn how to teacher.

This school is terrible for any student that has not been in the Coral System for years. the students are clicky and closed minded and bullying is not addressed in a punitive way. The victim's are punished and the harasser's tend to get away with it. Also, the school has very limited resources, whic...

Terrible! They don’t deal with bullying in a equal way. Lots of victims got into as much trouble as the predators or more. Teachers were extremely unsupportive. They had there favorites who were treated with more respect and made the rest of the students feel not important. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend....

Coral is a solid solution if you're zoned for a "bad" school. However, there are a LOT of issue that keep it from being what I would consider a great school. The administration and teacher's view and treatment of parents and of students... the absolutely abysmal pickup/drop off protocol... the homew...

This school is a great alternative if the school you're zoned for isn't very good. However, there's definitely headaches. Dealing with teachers is one. The nightmare pickup/drop off situation is another.
