Richardson North Junior High School is a highly rated Richardson Independent School District public school. The school serves seventh and eighth grade students. The campus is located on North Floyd Road in Richardson.
The school has a rigorous and challenging curriculum based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills standards. All students participate in core classes and are able to take advanced courses. Some of the advanced courses offered at Richardson North Junior High, like Algebra II, are dual credit courses and will count towards the student’s high school diploma.
There are many fine arts classes offered at Richardson North Junior High. Fine arts classes include music-based classes, like choir, band and orchestra. There are also a variety of fine art classes for students to choose from, like art and dance.
Richardson North Junior High provides students with various sports programs to participate in. Girls' and boys' teams are divided by grade level and sport. Parents are able to join the Booster Club for each sport their child participates in to help support the students and raise necessary funds for travel, uniforms and more.
Richardson North Junior High is home of the Vikings. The school colors are green and yellow. Following the completion of junior high, students continue to follow the J.J. Pearce Learning Community feeder pattern and attend J.J. Pearce High School.
