GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have loved going to Richland High school. The teachers are very helpful and would stay after if anyone needed help. I love the small school setting. Everyone knows everyone and people are so friendly. The students are welcoming and it's easy to make friends. The coaches are friendly and hardworking. I have loved playing basketball, tennis, and softball all four years of high school.

Richland High School community is very tight knit. The whole town comes out for many school fundraising events and games. We have great academics and the connection with the Waynesville Career Center which will help get you ready for your college careers. Also, not to mention our sporting events get the town pumped and raise tons of money for cancer patients.

My experience at Richland High School was a great one. Over the course of the last four years, I have had many different educational opportunities and experiences. I have had the chance to join an academic team, NHS, and Mu Alpha Theta. I love how at our small school, you get the one on one treatment you deserve to be able to succeed in high school. The only thing I would change is to put the focus on education rather than sports.
