The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

Kennedy is full of different characters. Everyone is so different but the one thing in common that we all have is the library. Our librarian has made the library a unique place. No one would ever think of the library as the loudest place in school. There's all types of games and activities in there. And I personally think it's the best place in our school. I'm not too sure about the worst part of experiences. I've personally never had one or think there's ever been a time where i'm just thinking "oh wow this has to be the worst experience ever" I would never like anything to change.

Within Kennedy there are some flaws with safety specifically. There is also so much potential that can be explored. Yet its very flawed with our administration lacking on giving us more room to expand on different subjects especially trades.

My High School is not bad, I have learned many things from it but I would like to see some changes in some classes or teachers. It would be great if they show us from the beginning how important our grades are, and give us more information about college and their requirements. Or bring us a diversity of new classes.

I feel it's necessary to comment on what a reviewer said in his/her comments on April 25, 2008. The "teacher" said that Kennedy is "the worst school he's taught at. "If you send your kid there you're giving them a great disadvantage." This "teacher" mentioned that there were metal detectors at the s...
