GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I went the school in 2020 and graduate in 2024. I think the school was great with teachers which one of the main priorities for a kid.

This school is a very suburban school. Many of the teachers grew up in the area and moved back with their families to teach. It is the best public school system in the area academically. The students are their own thing. Do with that what you will.

During my two years at Richmond Hill High School I would often see issues about the dress code. Sometimes I wore shirts that showed nothing but my belly button and a teacher or an administrator would tell me to pull it down or put a jacket on. My issue is that there were always girls who wore booty shorts and u can see their bottom but they never got addressed and I thought it was unfair. Other than that my experience at RHHS was "tolerable". And the food was really good.

I relocated with a child in high school. She was previously attending an award-winning school from another state. My child had an extensive behavioral history and IEP which included mandatory school counseling. Richmond Hill High School refused to follow her IEP. I reached out and went up the ladder...

When it comes to child safety, this school falls drastically short. I have found that they ignore bullying issues particularly when it comes to students with IEPs and 504s. The bullying here is out of control. I scheduled meetings with admin only to be told that my concerns were unfounded even thoug...

The administration at this school is the worst. Teachers get away with intimidating students and cursing at them. When confronted they back the lying teacher and dismiss the student. They only care about the students who parents have money and spend an much time and money for the school.
