Henrico Humanities Center is located at Hermitage High School. It is a challenging and rigorous center focused on reading, writing, literature and theater. It was overall an okay experience. There aren't very many clubs offered and the sports teams often lack funding and resources. The teachers are great however, they're very caring and supportive. The building itself is very old and outdated. Hallways can become very cramped because of how small the building is as well. Hopefully in the future this school improves. However, it is currently not up to standards.

This was a school I transfered to in february of 2025. Ive loved the teachers and the people there. I havent been weapped up in drama , everyone acts collected. Its pretty calm and relaxing.

As a student whose been involved with the community of hermitage high school and is apart of the humanities center and other clubs within the school. I can say for certain that Hermitage is an incluse and diverse school brimming with opportunities for young students. The schools staff makes sure to make lessons applicable to daily life and accessible for students who struggle with English not being their first language. Many teachers provide an education that reaches beyond a high-school learning and provides young adults with meaningful connections and experiences.

This school is fine. If you want inclusivity and diversity this school is great, teachers are always kind and understanding and there is 0 room for bigotry and discrimination here. It sure would be nice if you had more than half of your reviews in the last decade. One review since the pandemic is pretty weak. Thankfully, it is a positive one. I imagine taking stock of schools in any location is a tough endeavor, but I would likely try to keep things up to date.
