John Randolph Tucker High School is a great high school with a diversified culture with two specialties for High School Students. The high school building is newly constructed and features a good staff and various facilities. It has good IB staff and different clubs supporting High Schoolers.

My experience was honestly pretty good. Even though there was some downs in school, Tucker really was a good school and I'm sad to leave it. But one thing I hope to see is school spirit being brought up again!

As a freshman at J. R. Tucker High School, I can confidently say I have had a great experience so far. Teachers and administration work hard to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for students. Additionally, there are plenty of clubs to join and volunteering opportunities provided. Both help students become involved in their school environment and with their peers. Overall, I would rate this school a 4.5/5 and feel lucky to be able to attend.

I had fun here, bullying was practically non-existent since everyone kept within their crowd. My teachers made me feel appreciated even when I was struggling academically.

Teachers tend to coddle white kids and ignore whatever things they do that could get other POC in trouble. They also showed more polite gestures towards other whi...

going here is truely a experience! When you go to tucker you’ll definitely find your group of people . There are a lot teachers that genuinely care for you. One of my personal favorites is Mrs.Jhonson , she’s a great science teacher.

Finding a teacher who genuinely cares about their job and the kids (and isn't burned out) is rare anymore. At least in the Henrico County school district. If there are any of these teachers at Tucker, I haven't come across one yet in the 3 years my child has been there. The amount of bullying, fight...
