GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

To start off, Roanoke-Benson is filled with many good people. Even if there are a couple rude and mean characters, there is a strong community in this school. As much as I say I don't like being here, I'm glad I am because without this school, I would have the friends I have today. The best parts are when we cheer for the sports games together and everyone is having a great time even if we do lose a game. With the best parts, come the worst ones. The worst part of my high school experience was the struggle with administration. Though I love our current administration the people we had in the past were not great at their job and made it difficult for us students to do well. Our grading scale was confusing, our GPA was hard for us to understand and they didn't care for us as much as they should have. But even with all of that, I couldn't be happier to graduate with my high school class of 2024. We've made it through a pandemic, major cancellations and much more and I couldn't be happier.

It's a newly built school, which is very nice. We have great English and math teachers. I'm a senior here and I've received a good education. I just wish we had more electives and more vocational classes offered.

I loved most of my teachers, they prepared us for college as well as for going to the military/immediately starting a family. Most of the staff was supportive of our decisions that we were making as teenagers.
