I have always loved being a part of Spaulding High School. I feel that I truly became my own person in that school, and found some friends that will last forever. Most of the staff are people I could go to with any problem I had. Whether it was for school, or home, they were always there to find a solution. Even though I have immense love for it, I definitely felt a little outcasted. The school does not have much diversity. At times it felt like I was the only one who was different compared to other groups that had many more similarities. This was part of my decision to pick a college out of state. I knew that I would find students similar to my back round.

It is a great school for vocational programs and class options. The athletics department is extensive. The downside is the student body number so it is easy to get lost in the crowd unless you stand out. Your ability to participate in sports is hard unless you are naturally talented because of the number of students that try-out.

The overall school is great. It's a big school with a new addition tech center which features most trade which was nice to me since it was my senior year so I got to experience all of those things.

WE have been very pleased with Spaulding! The academics are appropriate for my honors level students. The extracurricular opportunities are plentiful and varied. My two have loved the music department - marching band, chorus, and drama!
