One time I was trying to get into varsity lacrosse for girl and they denied my sophomore year of high school so I worked harder to get into my varsity year but didn't get into varsity till junior year. I believe it's because I was the only black girl on the team. So they benched me. This is not the first time they did this to me. When I first ever tried out, I was benched my freshman year. Because I was black but then my sophomore year was the only year I played in the game for my school. There is a lot more to the story but I don't have enough space.

The school is very clique-oriented, and many people choose to partake in vaping. The school is also extremely sports oriented. However, IHS does have a good arts department and puts good attention and care toward differently abled students. Most of the teachers there care about the students and their learning.

Both of my children graduated from IHS after attending Listwood, Iroquois and Dake. They were all excellent schools with parent involvement and very good teachers. Wonderful community. IHS prepared my children well for college, both at Ivy Leagues.
