The best of YPA would be some of the teachers; some teachers would just love to work with you and make sure you understand. Then the worst would be the teachers who are biased and only help the students they like. The reason why it is the school's fault is because a lot of students told the principal, but it seems like nothing has been done.

As a student at York Preparatory Academy it is an outstanding school! Students like myself are presented with amazing opportunities academically and socially!

It was pretty good. Most of the teachers were nice and cared about their jobs and their students. The club and extracurricular life are very rich despite the small school size.

I had a student at all three sites. The elementary school staff is very friendly. However, they did very little in terms of field trips or extracurricular activities for the students. The Jr high is a JOKE. Parents beware, the turnover is VERY high with the staff (see online for all of the vacancy)....

Overall experience with this school is very poor. ELEMENTARY BUILDINGmost parents reviewing are in the elementary building, but the entire schooling changes as you transition to the student union and middle school. If you are needing a school for elementary children, this school is the best choice,...

I have a 5th grader and 1st grader that attend YPA. Enrolling them at this school was one of the best decisions as a parent I have ever made. The elementary teachers have all been wonderful. The principals are amazing. There are things I wished were different, but they are minor compared to the over...
