Peak prep was the best school I've tried in California when they were using a platform known as "Strongmind" for the school work in my Sophomore year. Though it became very difficult and I failed almost every class when they changed to "Edgenuity" at the same time every other school that was forced into teaching online classes did. Would be a great school that I would recommend to all students who have trouble in traditional public schools in California due to social anxieties as well as different learning disabilities like a slow processing speed or autism to give a few examples IF they decided to change back to Strongmind. Though with their current teaching platform Edgenuity I would only recommend it for the fact that they don't require any sort of in person meetings or even zoom calls etc. A lot of the teachers do offer optional group zoom calls though - similar to how college courses work.
