Hononegah is a tight-knit community school. The area it is located in is nice and most teachers are mindful of students prior extracurricular commitments. Mostly everyone at Hononegah is involved somehow; sports, student council, NHS, community service, or clubs.

The students can be racist and aggressive toward others that are not white or heterosexual. The teachers are accepting towards many students; however, they often do not help with mental health due to schooling or assignments. The building is old and has cockroaches, and the ceiling in one of the gyms leaks, otherwise the building is fine. I want the mascot to change due to the very racist ties to it as well, and many of those who live in Rockton and Roscoe want to keep it due to "tradition".

I will be a junior this upcoming school year and am grateful that I get to attend Hononegah. Hononegah has served me well the past 3 years and it saddens me to be leaving in just one short year. At Hononegah, I feel safe and feel that there is a comfortable learning environment created.

Went to pick up my diploma 7 or so years ago . My grandmother and mother were with me as we were just stopping by to pick it up. If you are a college bound student then this school is for you. If you are a student with a disability, you are forgotten. Minimal services, minimal family inclusion. I've had two children enrolled in this district and the differences in opportunities are appalling.

I had 3 children attend this hs. The education provided prepared them well enabling them to succeed in life choices. Teachers seemed to engage students . The music program was exceptional years back.
