Thomas S. Wootton High School is a very welcoming school, it's always so fun to meet new students and relate to where we're from and our hobbies. Although the school is not very diverse, the school is 6% Black/African American so it can be hard to feel completely like I belong because there aren't many people who look like me.

While physically poor (Wootton's building has been due for renovation for some time now), Wootton presents itself as a superb school. A very heavy emphasis on academics (with a large variety of AP and advanced courses) it did a lot to ready me for college. Although some circles can be rather competitive, the student body is simply great. With many clubs you will be sure to find your place.

Great school and atmosphere. They definitely push and focus on education and communication to the the children’s parents. It’s clearly up to each student to succeed in school and life, but they are there to help and push towards that goal!

I came to the Wootton cluster after lots of harassment at my old school, and Wootton is much better in that area! Unrelatedly, the school is incredibly competitive and pushes kids to take too many hard classes; this year I am in four APs. There is not much actual learning but instead a huge amount o...

Wootton gave our two kids a tremendous education and experience, preparing them for college and the rest of life, with a perfect blend of hard work, rigorous study, and balance with friendship, socializing and values.
