In my experiences at Lawrence Jones Middle School, I was pretty well prepared for high school and well-learned by promotion, but the administration and staff sort of held that growth back. Overall, LJMS is an average public middle school in my opinion.

My son was straight As all the way through. My daughter struggled big time in 6th grade and now she is acing 7th grade but she has a tutor. Both kids had a fantastic time at band, best teacher in the entire school by far.
