I moved here in 10th grade not knowing no one. Everyone was nice and welcoming. The teachers and counselors helped me get the right classes for me.

I was a part of Model's AP and Honors program. Model, when I attended, was one of only four schools in the county to offer AP Capstone classes, which are invaluable for college readiness.

Since the school is not very big, you get to know almost everybody in the school. The school's motto is "we are FaMily" (the capitalized M is for Model). There are many academic opportunities as well. We have a wide variety of AP classes, honors, and Duel enrollment courses students can take. Our athletics have become increasingly better over the years due to new coaches joining our school. Model is the only school to currently have a dance team in our region.

If the children's parents are not spending money for the school then do not expect them to graduate or drop out. Also kicking them out. The bullying is not being taken seriously. They will not keep a child back for one year even if you ask them too so they can try to catch up the the work. Just beca...

Both of my children's grades improved quickly and dramatically at Model. Kay White and the other counselors are quick to get involved with the students. The e...

If you have a child who is going to play baseball at Model be ready to shell out $400 for him in order to play. I have 2 grandchildren at Model who have always played baseball and one of them is a senior who dearly loves baseball and was looking so forward to playing in his last year. He knew that h...
