Rosepine is a great school. We have incredible athletic programs and a very well-rounded staff. The only thing that could be different would be the variety of classes offered. When classes student could take per school year were dropped to seven instead of 8, some courses were cut, such as Spanish 3, but maybe new courses were introduced, such as an Adobe course.

I love the student/activity/life balance we have at the school. The teachers push you to be the best student. The help pick us up when we are down. Rosepine is more like family. I wouldn't change a thing.

Rosepine High School has a great staff that is willing to go above and beyond for the students. Small school setting which make it easy to get the help that is needed. It is one of the few schools that offer dual enrollment and associate degree program to students. The athletic department has great teams and school spirit is high within the student body and the community. The high school is an easy transition from junior high school because of the co location of the two schools which make the change smooth for the students. The students are welcoming to new students and with the variety of clubs and organizations there is plenty for every student to get involved regardless of the interest he or she may have. The front office staff is phenomenal with a true caring spirit for the students and the staff. This is truly a family oriented school and a good place to send students who have the passion and desire to learn and grow within the community and as a effective citizen. Go EAGLES!!!

Due to Army PCSs, my kids started school in Vernon Parish (including Rospine) then attended schools in GA, IN, WA and returned to Rosepine for the 2024-25 school year. Had we not moved, my son, a junior would be taking French III, AP Calc, AP Hist, AP Psych, etc. Sadly, these courses are not offered...

This school is perfect from k-12. A perfect nightmare. One of the worst schools I have ever encountered for dealing with Autistic children, they simply don't know what they are doing and do not care to do it. My family has been here since 2008 and we have raised 2 kids in the Rosepine school system since they both were Kindergarteners and it is a family atmosphere here, everybody is so nice and sweet and treat you like you’re apart of their family.
