GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I like the way we show pride and spirit. I didn't like how almost everything revolves around football. If you didn't play football you weren't a big deal. I think it's a great sport but we have to treat the other sports equal and give them a chance.

Teachers are nice and try their best however did not learn very much due to the school requirements. Very accepting of LGBTQ students and was lenient on grades and had fun. Not many events and travel are supported by the school. Small rural campus separated into 3 main buildings.

I moved from a Los Angeles Middle School to go as a freshman in Ruidoso High School. I like that the high school is in a rural environment. Most of my teachers were great. I wish that the Theater program was better. Even though NM schools are rated low nationally, I enjoyed attending.
