Most of the teachers are friendly. The higher ups, including at least one principal and the superintendent seem to like to flex their power, even if that means discriminating. They also gave the school photo business to some inferior local company who charges the same price as Lifetouch, for garbage...

Communication between parents and teachers is terrible. They need to have the option to at least email the teachers. Teachers should be respectful of new students not being used to the routines set by the school. My son has basically been "thrown to the wolves" when it comes to school.

My daughter has attended Joppa 2 years now and we absolutely love it!! Mrs.Becky is a fantastic Kindergarten teacher and Mrs. Bailey has been a great 1st grade teacher.
