I loved this school and would say that over and over again forever. The teachers I had were beyond amazing and really cared about all of their students. I was in the GATE program and really appreciated the education I was able to receive through that program and this school. It is extremely diverse and a lot of the kids that go there care a lot about their academics, which I appreciate. I graduated four years ago and every time I go back to visit all of my teachers still remember me and actually care about hearing where I am in life.

I have 2 kids, one who is currently enrolled one who has finished. Both in IEPs. For the older one the time in this school was pretty terrible, their point person for their IEP was atrocious, didn’t listen at all to what my sons needs were and just kept presuming, wrongly, that she knew what he need...

Miwok middle is said to be one of the best schools in the city but I would not say that at all. I am overwhelmed by everything they have us doing. All of my teachers will assign work and homework like they are the only teacher I have, making it hard to balance everything and still have a good sleep...

The school is subpar at best. There are rats and cockroaches (and other disgusting bugs) within the locker room. The PE teachers do not care about the health of students; they make them lie on the filthy gym floor everyday, and they never clean them. Some of the teachers here are great, but the othe...
