GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Well rounded education, very diverse students, everyone feels welcome. Great attitudes, teachers all work with you to help work with your best needs and interests. Principle is very easy to talk to and relaxed unless needed to be strict. Many options for clubs, and gets you ready for college.

The staff is really supportive and want to see you succeed. All of the teachers will take extra time to make sure you understand, or you are okay, and you're doing well.

Overall, my experience at Safford High School was positive. One of their strengths is providing college credit opportunities for its students. Students are able to challenge themselves as well as prepare for their future by getting a jump start on credits as well as finding what interests them.
