GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The school has a few really good teachers, but overall the academics are not challenging. It's really just a sports school. They focus on who makes the school look good. Any discipline problems get shipped off to alternative school or swept under the rug. If you actually want an education I would look elsewhere, private, or online.

Pretty average high school experience. I enjoyed being able to take college classes during my time as a high school student.

This is a very large school. There are a large number of floors, and it's right in the middle of town. You can walk to school everyday and be ready to learn like you've never learned before. This area is rather conservative, so sadly you will be around students that don't have masks on all of the time, but otherwise the school is alright.

This is honestly a terrible school that I wouldn’t recommend sending anyone. With the exception of the the sports teams everything else about this school is terrible. Most the teachers may as well be babysitters as they just assign videos, slides, or papers typically along with an assignment telling...

I'm a senior at St. Clairsville High School, and I had went to a different school in the alley up until 7th grade, but once I switched, my grades improved, as well as my bullying situation. It is certainly the best school in the Ohio Valley. Not only is out academic status outstanding, so is out ath...

I went to school here as well as my children. Best school in the Ohio Valley. Not only the best in academics, but good sports teams also. Football is a big part of this district, but the education you receive here is great. I recommend this district to anyone moving to the valley.
