GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

No band or music classes, lunch is short and they dont give much food. there are no early graduation options and very limited classes that dont support our future career.

I have gone to Charlton Heston Academy for 5 years now, and plan on graduating from there in 2019. Since I started there I have genuinely enjoyed going to school.

I came to Charlton Heston Academy in 2014 as a transfer student my freshman year, and the teachers made me feel welcome right away, and even several of the students welcomed me warmly. Now, almost three years later and coming up on graduation, I go to school with several students that have become rather like family. The teachers care about the students, and will give a student the help they need if the student asks for help. The only thing I can think of that I wish I could change is the dress code. Sometimes it's a bit chillier than what a cardigan can handle.

"high graduation rates don't mean much if students are graduating without the coursework and test scores they need to succeed" In other words, they aren't really teaching the kids. They are just handing out grades and graduating kids who haven't learned. The leaders of this school should be ashamed...

School is full of cha...
