Went here during my middle school years, as a minority I do not believe this is a good place to send your child. Lots of racism and lots of bullying, teachers are cruel and unkind; administrators don't help with serious problems within the school, food is actually good though. No good classes, does not take any disciplinary action whatsoever, students are so so so rude. This school really needs to capitalize on the bullying because at this school it is without a doubt a HUGE problem. as a student I went here and it took a huge toll on my mental health. This school is not suitable for a child and I think should not be considered as good as it is.

I highly recommend the IEP program because they helped my son succeed in every way possible here. The administration also handle bullying and violence towards other students very well, and treat everyone - regardless of ethnicity or background - with equal respect.

I moved to Saint johns county in 2012 and began 7th grade not knowing anyone. I was nervous but the kids and teachers made me feel right at home. My Civics teacher even called my mom after school to tell her that I was doing great, raising my hand and participating during class and for her not to worry. It seemed like the staff knew everyone,always saying good morning to us by our first name which I was not used to .I will be so ever grateful for that experience .

Coming from New England, I’ve realized how lacking Florida schools are. It’s no wonder why the literacy rate in Florida is 7th -8th grade level. Wonderful school! 5 stars. Administration is excellent. They follow the district code of conduct and have many fun, positive programs like WEB leaders and clubs. My kids enjoy it there and are happy with their teachers.
