I am very thankful to go to Saint Johns High School. Most of the teachers are amazing and care very much and I generally feel safe at school. However, I would like to feel more prepared to enter into the world after high school. I am not sure what I would change.

The best parts have the connections I have made with teachers, coaches, staff, and students. The worst part has been some of the experiences I have had with teachers that I find to be very poor educators.

My school is like any other school. Most kids don't care about their grades. The food is less then okay. A good amount of the teachers hate their job. I walk in there everyday ready to work as hard as possible to ensure that my future has a good college or university waiting for me because I don't want to be stuck around this environment much longer. Again, it is not that this school is bad. It just isn't filled with kids that care and that has always been something that bothers me when it comes to my education. Why waste your time going to school if you don't care? That's a sure fire way to make all that time mean nothing because you won't get into college thinking that way.

The actions & events that I have witnessed at St. Johns high school involving pincipals, teachers, & some local authorities can be summed up as 'Unless you home school your children... My experience was good until about 2015, now getting worse every year. If my daughter wasn't almost done (10th) I'd move her to Pewamo/Westphalia or Dewitt schools. St. Johns closes school excessively, especially on Fridays and Mondays. They extend school into summer vacation and force parents to se...
