It's a very nice school, I never feel like there is a lack of security and the classes they offer have a very good variety. I would definitely like to see more diversity in the school but overall it's a very good school.

There were a lot of good parts of West Salem high School, and overall i felt very lucky to be able to go there. The biggest issue there really was, was the lack of diversity. The only languages there to take were European and Spanish, and overall there was not a large demographic of people; mostly White and Hispanic. The music program was really successful, and was a big part of my time at West Salem. I only graduated last year, but the impact will be there for forever; I'm sure of it.

Went here all four years including during covid. overall, had a great experience. School is large and staff is generally very kind and caring. The college academic advisor was absolutely fantastic in helping seniors figure out how to apply for scholarships and creating a plan for your future. Overall a great school

3 kids all graduated and went on to Oregon state and 2 to Portland state.The third one was a challenge, as a concerned parent i met with a vice principal, who helped put my son on a plan to graduate, and it worked.They are excellent in making sure your child is ready for the next level.

My son has special needs and this school has dropped the ball on testing him. Sticking to his 504 and letting him fail two years in a row without reaching out to me the parent. I have been trying to get my son help through this school and they do nothing. I had a teacher tell me it wasn’t his job to...
