This school used to be a fun and safe environment. Unfortunately it doesn't feel that safe anymore at this school. Mr.Briggs made everyone happy and safe, but out new assistant principal Mr. Dayda doesn't make us feel that way. I am a student speaking out about what is going on and I'll stay anonymous for my sake. Mr. Dayda has said rude things and has done things that you wouldn't consider safe. We've seen him hit kids on the head with microphones and even say mean rude things like accusing kids of getting "knocked up." One major event that's hushed is when one of the deputies at our school tackled a female in front of a whole class and held her by her neck. Most student have also felt as if we are in prison. Simply because we have constant security where you can't go to your own locker without a pass. I am a student speaking out and can't be hushed for long,so these events can be heard and understood.

Which in-turn makes the teachers just give up. He is getting far less than what he deserves here. So am I forced to go in...

I am pulling my child out and sending her to Mardela Middle and High School. This school is failing the students, and it seems like the central office just has no idea what to do. The teachers all seem like they want to give up, and it's no wonder given all of the problems in this place. If even hal...
