Overall it was good the main problem was how old the school was it was really old so the air was really hot or really cold and some of the classroom were really dated but other than that it was really fun and enjoyable

The best part of going to west high school is the helpful resources we get from our teachers. Almost all the AVID teachers I have had are always so helpful and are always willing to sit and walk us through anything we need. I am a senior this year and my AVID teacher is always showing us new scholarships and the best ways to apply to college.

West high is an IB school, which is really special but there is a segregation between IB students and regular diploma students. The academics offered prepare the students for college but there is a bias.

There is no policy that will make students go to class in place. My daughter learned early on how easy it is to sluff... Yes we had discussions... but kids are sluffing and walking around the school during class and nothing is being done about it. My daughter has been in trouble because of the teach...

This is the oldest school in the state, but has fallen to be the worst. It is a real jungle.
