Spending 3 years at Eastlake has really opened my eyes to something I had never been exposed to. Since I moved from India and Eastlake was like my first official school I went to for the first time in US, not only did I get an exposure to the American lifestyle but found people who relate to me. The diversity in the school is so great but the college readiness is not that great because of its lack of foundational characteristics in the college and career center. I came to this high school because of its counseling center and to go to a suitable college for me and I would like to see that more incorporated in the school.

It is a Great School and Staff. Teachers are awesome. Kids have lot of opportunity classes for sports.

My overall experience has been pretty good. I have learned a lot from my teachers and fellow peers. I do wish that the school had a bigger campus because the school is very crowded sometimes which makes it hard to navigate.

Do not send your child here. Eastlake is OVERCROWDED. There are NOT enough resources to go around. Both of my sons went to Eastlake High School and ENJOYED it. This is definitely NOT a typical American high school.Pros: Teachers - This school simply has the best teachers. If you have a neurodivergent kid with severe anxiety, this isn’t the school for you. Mine struggled greatly and the guidance just wasn’t there - they definitely focus on the neurotypical hard worker who wants to go to college.
