GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience while attending Lake View High School is very conforming and supportive. The school environment is healthy and the amount of help provided to you is one of a kind. There is never a time where you feel left out because the teachers, coaches, and principals are always kind and helpful for whatever you are in need of.

Lake View High School is one of the best High School's to go to, there is much to learn and a lot of supportive people to help. The class sizes aren't too big so every teacher is able to get you the answers you may need. Also while playing sports the coaches are the absolute best along with the trainers to help with injuries. Lake View overall is just a great place to be, the staff and everyone truly contribute to the school and make sure everything and everyone is safe no matter what. I am a current senior at Lake View and I would highly recommend going because it is a great experience and you will be set up for success.

Lake View exemplifies the school to prison pipeline. As of now, they installed a chain link fence around the entire property, which only goes to show that even the school district thinks these bright, but underprivileged kids are nothing more than animals being prepped for slaughter in the American prison system.

Lake View High School was the only school who helped me with what I needed to do to enroll my brother. I called Central high school and they never called me back. TLCA told me "they couldn't help me with my problem". The Lake View High School principle called me and helped me get everything sorted o...

We moved to San Angelo from Las Vegas Nevada. When we enrolled my son "on the first day of school" everyone was so nice and very well organized. My son plays alto sax and had a marching band practice the first night, those kids made him feel very welcomed and showed him the ropes right away. Thanks...

Lake View is an amazing school and has a much better environment than Central. At Lake View, the teachers and other staff members care about their students. It's easy to be forgotten at Central. Lake View never receives any credit for their academics. However, it's well over due because in recent ye...

Lake view is on a steady decline. A mixture of apathy from students and overallowing parents creates a hostile environment rejecting of strangers. I have never seen so much disrespect to teachers and lack of care by teachers.
