I'm very happy we found this school for my daughter. She struggled socially at other schools. She was welcomed here by staff and has made new friends. The staff is very accommodating to her needs. The only downside is the drive to downtown.

This school has been wonderful for my daughter. The teachers and the students are more like a family and the administration is always available for the parents.

This is my first year with HFA, I am the Spec Ed Case Manager and I will have to say the staff is amazing. The students that we have are incredibly talented and a diverse group of young adults. I am loving every minute I spend at HFA. If I still had children in school I would happily transfer them to this school. I think allowing the student to express themselves (within limits of course) is the greatest thing you can do to make a young adult feel confident and comfortable in their own skin. If you have not come in for a visit, please do. You will not be disappointed.

The original principal, J Flores left this school. The English and math teachers that last year's Freshman and this year's Sophomores have he'd are ineffective for most of the students. This school is really great for the child who feels "less encouraged" in a traditional high school. Creativity is fostered and encouraged. Attending college is presented as a "non option". They are shown the many different undergrad options out there that will assist them in furthering their passion...

Excellent school! The Principal is very involved and knows every student individually and makes sure they are each successful. The teachers truly want the students to succeed and go above and beyond to help them achieve success and graduate with confidence. Academics are excellent.

Fantastic school. The environment is relaxed enough to let creativity flow, while still upholding very high behavioral standards. My son has immensely enjoyed his first year there.
