Meadow Village Elementary School is a part of the Northside Independent School District. Serving approximately 102,000 students, the district is the largest school system in south Texas. With a student body of approximately 415 and a student-to-teacher ratio of 11-to-1, which is well below the national average, Meadow Village serves students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade.
The school offers a comprehensive academic program with courses in art, music, science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Qualified students can also take advantage of a Gifted and Talented Program. Each student at Meadow Village is also a part of their literacy program to encourage a transformational literary experience for each. Reading, writing and literacy Specialists collaborate with teachers to ensure each student’s needs are being met.
In an effort to promote a mindset of lifelong wellness, Meadow Village uses both SPARK and CATCH curriculum in their physical education program. The physical education motto is “Active Student, Active Lifestyle.” In addition to the formal course offerings, Meadow Village also has a number of extracurricular programs. Students can take part in a broadcast club, robotics club and a gardening club, just to name a few.

Meadow Village is a small community, both my oldest son and daughter attended before we moved and the teachers and staff were very welcoming. They remembered us by name. It would be nice if more parents were active with the PTA, Meadow Village has a lot more potential with the help of active parents...
