The academic challenge is almost non existent and the girls athletic coaches are a joke. The girls b team coach in particular for basketball has no business coaching a sport she knows nothing about. Stay away if you can. There are gangs and it is a very rough school. My sister went here and constantly saw kids get jumped and harassed.

We moved here from out-of-state and my son has attended 6th grade at Rayburn. The reputation is terrible, so I was very afraid. The kids do not have lockers, have to have see-through back packs, and wear uniforms. My son has survived, with minimal bullying. The teachers there seem to be really nice,...
