In the years I've attended Hollister High, there has been an egregious amount of fights happening on campus to the point where security was hired in order to prevent them. There have also been numerous lockdowns due to a student holding some type of weapon.

So far as a Freshman at San Benito/ Hollister High School has been a pretty good experience. The science facilities and sports facilities are really good. Other facilities are good, but not as good. The culture of the school is great, and it has a huge fan base for sports and other things. It is a pretty nice campus also. There is a lot of students which can be a drawback when trying to get lunch, or communicate with admin. Overall I'd say it's a good school but a big adjustment considering how big of a school it is.

Great selection of AP classes. Love all the career pathways set up for kids to choose the right courses for if they are going to college or trade school. Counselors are very approachable and hands on with meeting students about their classes and goals.

The students all seemed very proud to be Hay Balers. I believe a lot of the students have in great part because the staff is amazing. Clean campus, would definitely encourage future enrollment. Graduated a Hay Baler and would love to see my child graduate as one as well. I would like to see FFA rema...
