My son has been here from K to 8 and we have grown to love Highlands. The middle school teachers are especially awesome. The same group of teachers teach all the grades in middle school so they know the students very well. The camping trip each year brings them all such great memories. I wish they have a gym for sports. Fortunately, they were able to rent the san bruno rec center this year for basketball. Still, they don't have enough time to practice.

My 2 kids graduated from Highlands. Fairly speaking, it is not a bad school but has extra miles to go in order to be excellent. Academically it is mediocre.
