San Clemente High School was an amazing experience overall for my child. There were plenty of academic opportunities over the four years that has prepared her for college. Many of her teachers were engaging and pushed her limits to becoming a better student. The resources available on campus met all of her needs from counseling to college and career guidance. One of the worst parts of San Clemente High School was that there is no dedicated theatre for our award winning musical productions. We had to use almost all the money we fundraise in year to purchase stages and risers in order to put on a show since we do not have an actual theatre. Our drama department has to use a shared space that is routinely disturb and occupied by many other departments. The school as a whole is rundown and is need of some real renovations. In the future I hope to attend a musical in a newly renovated dedicated theatre for drama.

I really enjoyed my experience at SCHS. However my biggest criticism is about the campus itself. It's an old school and it does not have enough room for all of the sports. For example our girls soccer has to travel off campus to work and can't use their own facilities. Other than that I really enjoyed my experience here!

Overall a decent school. About 3000 students, so it's fairly large, you'll be able to find people with common interests. Mostly older buildings, but alright overall.

Southern Orange County Coastal Feel. You'll survive if you are very careful about what your appearance is, your friends, etc.

Overall my experience with office staff and administration has been very Negative. Teachers are great, but I read another review about the girls soccer coaching staff which I strongly agree with. I brought my concern to the Athletic Director and he deferred to the coaching staff. The coaching leader...

I had one daughter graduate last year, with a terrible experience and hating going to school everyday. Teachers are mean she said, and kids are very egotistical, and drugs are definetely a big problem. Now, I have a freshman there, who said she will not go back to the school next year, for the same...
