the best parts of high tech high media art has to to the community, high tech at its best is a place where any student can make a change and advocate for themselves. I will say that high tech lacks in some academic areas, like Math and science. I would love to see high tech put more funding towards the visuals of the school.

I appreciate the school's advocacy for college and academics, even though it is project-based. The only thing I wish is that we had a budget for sports as it's hard sometimes to get coaches and a good program in place for sports due to the positions being volunteer work.

High Tech High Media Arts has been a positive experience. I enjoy the group and project-based approach to learning. I feel genuinely connected to my school community and I value the impact our school has on the community. Worst part is that the school lacks strong sports programs and social events (prom/homecoming).

This school fell apart for us shortly after acceptance: Sloppy communication about all aspects of the school, no discipline, teachers begging for student cooperation, low expectations (socially & academically), just general chaos. The school has good intentions and it’s mission admirable, but teache...

I graduated some time ago, and am currently flourishing in an intense academic environment, in large part due to the deeper learning skills that I developed here at HTHMA. It's by no means a perfect school, but- speaking as a cynical educator- it's among the best you'll ever find.

I truly feel my children won the lottery when they got into this school. The staff is caring and compassionate. My children have developed skills they would not have learned in a public school. They are confident and articulate in speech and in writing. This school is project based so if you want a...
