The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

My experience at King Chavez was great. Like that I've been with the same group of people since I was in middle school, but at the same time I would like to see more diversity in the school.

This school is honesty the best. They make me feel welcome and accepted. Not only that they care about all the students especially their grades. If you ever need help whether it is a school problem or a personal problem they are always their to help. All the teachers and staff members are so nice. Even the students. We are all one big happy happy and I could not ask for a better school.
