Staffs have been very supportive. I was part of the ISP and it allowed me to finish school at my own paste as a senior who was also working. Since it is a small school, teachers are more open to help students individually. The notify parents of every change that is done in school which is really good. It is located in the center of Downtown so if your child needs transportation they offer MTS campus card.

I think It takes a while to become adjusted with the environment since it can be a bit negative depending on who you surround yourself with. I've been here for four years and I can say it has improved and dis improved in other ways. I wouldn't recommend it but I don't detest it. There are a few good teachers for example Mrs. Aki and Mr. Mcneil but it's rare to find a teacher who apears to be interested and involved into educating instead of just teaching. There's lots of bullying and the standards are very low for the students. Test scores are low even for the more intelligent because the level of education being taught is low as is. I definitely learned from this experience and don't regret but if I could go back in time and either move schools and avoid the school in the first place I would definitely do it.

My experience at King Chavez Community High School has been good. I have received an enormous amount of help. If I could change something about my school my first option would be the lunch. Lunch is not good and going an entire day without eating is stressful and affects my education a lot.

Would never consider teaching there again and would not recommend this school to my worst enemy. The high school campus is awful, uninviting and Instructional Coaches are no coaches at all.

King Chavez High School is a fantastic school. I currently have one of their students interning at my learning center. King Chavez High School is doing a great job by exposing their students to the real world of working. My intern comes in everyday and is ready to help out any which way she can. She...
