My best parts at my highschool are the friends I have made and the sports I have played. They have really made me feel apart of the school and find myself. The worst parts are the constant fights, and substance use and recently the death of one of our fellow students. (Suicide)

My kids are getting a great education at point loma highschool. The two kids I have are naturally bright and street smart. I have heard that it has a reputation of being a pot smoking highschool. We have not experienced this.

Point Loma High School is great. It's a fantastic place to meet friends, especially if you're into JROTC.

Front Office is always rude. Not helpful. I don't understand why you would put non friendly, non people person in your front office. If I had another option to send my kids, I would. NOT impressed

PLHS offers many options for students that want to learn and value academics. I am impressed with the number of AP: and College Level courses that are available, and is one of the main reasons we attend this school. I can't say enough horrible things about this school. First of all, my son struggles in math. There are no good math teachers. When my son asks the teacher a question they say look in the book.
