GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Mountain View High School was a lot different than just regular non continuation school. I didn't have anyone to talk to or have friends there because I was being home schooled from Mountain View High school, but it was called Mountain View Heights Academy. I would go to the school every once a week to meet up with my assigned teacher they gave me and check up on my work that I have done or needed help with or new subjects I had to do and finish to be able to pass it and graduate to get the full credits. Being home schooled was much more better for me in my opinion than going to school every 5 days a week.

Most students don't stay after school, but ones who really need help will stay. The teachers always stay after school hours to those who seek extra help.
